The Vice Chairman of Ido Local Government and Chairmanship Aspirant, Hon. Barr. Olayemi Ajibola Oluwasina, has presented Certificates of Training, Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Certificates of Incorporation, and Driver’s Licenses to youths who successfully completed various empowerment trainings in 2025.

The presentation ceremony highlighted a strong commitment to youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and economic advancement within the local government area. The initiative ensures that beneficiaries are not only trained in relevant skills but are also equipped with the legal and professional documentation required to operate confidently.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Oluwasina emphasized that the initiative was designed not just to provide skills acquisition, but to ensure beneficiaries receive legal backing and certification necessary to operate confidently and independently. The CAC certificates enable trained entrepreneurs to formally register their businesses, while the driver’s licenses further equip beneficiaries with additional means of livelihood.

He reiterated his dedication to creating opportunities that will reduce unemployment, promote self-reliance, and strengthen the local economy.

The beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the initiative, describing it as timely, impactful, and life-changing.
This empowerment programme reflects Hon. Oluwasina’s vision for a progressive, youth-driven, and economically vibrant Ido Local Government.
