Hon. Barr. Olayemi Ajibola Oluwasina is a name that resonates with purpose, enterprise, and a deep-seated commitment to communities across Ido Local Government and beyond. He’s a man who seamlessly blends a sharp legal mind with the practical, hands-on spirit of a grassroots leader and successful entrepreneur.
His journey is built on a strong educational foundation. He holds a B.A. (Hons) Ed degree in English from the University of Uyo Nigeria, which first honed his communication skills and deep understanding of people—tools that would prove invaluable in every arena he later entered.
Driven by a passion for justice and order, he then proceeded to the prestigious University of Lagos to obtain his LLB (Hons) degree, before capping it off at the Nigerian Law School in Lagos, where he was called to the Nigerian Bar.
At the core of his professional life is the law. As the Principal Partner of Fasina & Omotayo Legal Practitioners (FOLP) , he has helped build a thriving law practice with a footprint stretching from Ibadan and Ado-Ekiti to Lagos and the FCT. But his drive to create and build doesn’t stop in the courtroom.
Long before his current political role, Fash—as he’s fondly called—was already a pillar in his community. Back in 2006, he founded Forsure Educational Services, better known as Forsure Tutors. What started as an extra-mural coaching center in Odo Ona Apata, Ibadan has become a familiar and trusted name for families seeking quality educational support. This passion for development naturally extended into other sectors. He leads Forsure Property Consult Ltd, a real estate firm recognized by the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN). He’s also the driving force behind Royal Proteins Nigeria Ltd, the company bringing us wholesome, NAFDAC-approved products like Royal Plantain Flour and Royal Smoked Fish.
Recognizing the power of collaboration, he co-founded Gemtech Global Resources Ltd in 2019 and Jibadol Royal Homes and Properties Ltd in 2023, always looking ahead to the next opportunity to build and provide.
This impressive portfolio isn’t just about business success; it’s a testament to his ability to create jobs, identify needs, and deliver solutions—skills he now brings to public service. Currently serving as the Vice Chairman of Ido Local Government, he has proven to be a dedicated public servant. His legal training is evident in his approach to governance, bringing a sense of integrity, due process, and clear-eyed policy implementation to the council’s work. He’s been instrumental in strengthening how the local government operates, always with an eye on fairness and community good.
But what truly sets him apart is his connection to the people. He’s not a distant administrator. You’ll find him in active dialogue with community leaders, listening to the concerns of youth groups and market women, engaging with farmers on their challenges, and building bridges with religious organizations. This accessible, humble leadership style has earned him widespread respect. He believes that good governance starts with a simple principle: showing up and listening.
It’s this very philosophy that has fueled his next big vision. Driven by a desire to build on the foundation laid and to accelerate progress, he has declared his intention to run for Chairman of Ido Local Government in the 2026/27 elections.
His vision is bold yet grounded: to transform Ido into one of the most progressive and well-run Local Governments in Oyo State.
His blueprint for that future is built on three simple yet very powerful pillars:
Service to the people: Putting the needs of every Ido resident first.
Transparent governance: Running an open, honest, and accountable administration.
Sustainable community development: Creating projects and programs that deliver lasting benefits for generations.
Beyond the titles and the offices, Hon. Barr. Olayemi Ajibola Oluwasina is a family man. He and his beautiful wife are blessed with four wonderful children, grounding him and reminding him daily of the future they are all working to build.
Ultimately, Hon. Barr. Oluwasina’s story is one of a man committed to building businesses, building futures, and building a prosperous, peaceful, and inclusive Ido Local Government for all.
