Olayemi Ajibola Oluwasina, popularly known as Barr Fash, has been drawn to reports circulating on social media claiming that another individual, popularly known as Mabaje, has emerged as the consensus candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) for the Ido Local Government Chairmanship election.
According to party leaders and stakeholders who participated in the leadership meeting held on Sunday, August 2, 2026, these reports are false, misleading, and should be disregarded by members of the party and the general public.
The meeting, attended by respected party leaders including Mallam Muili Yusuf, Alhaji Akisola Ayuba, Alhaji Kamoruden Adedibu, Mr. Akano, Alhaji Musibau Emiola, Mr. Owolabi, and several other leaders from across Ido Local Government, reportedly reached a consensus endorsing Hon. Barr. Olayemi Ajibola Oluwasina (Barr Fash) as the party’s consensus chairmanship candidate.
