The Governing Council of Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, has announced Professor Ebunoluwa Oduwole as the institution’s next Vice-Chancellor.

The announcement was made public through an official statement issued by the university and released online on Thursday.

According to the statement, Prof. Oduwole is to take over from the current Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Timothy Adebayo, whose five-year tenure concludes at the end of this month.

The university commended Prof. Adebayo for his outstanding leadership and key role in the institution’s growth, calling him “an exceptional and distinguished administrator.”

“Prof. Adebayo’s leadership over the past five years elevated Ajayi Crowther University to new heights in academic excellence, infrastructure development, and institutional reputation,” the statement read.

Prof. Oduwole’s appointment marks a new chapter for the university as it advances its mission to provide quality education rooted in strong moral and spiritual values.
