In a remarkable gesture of community development and support for grassroots governance, Hon. Steven Fapetu, Supervisor for Mineral Resources in Ido Local Government and representative of Ward 10, has donated 500 blocks to aid the ongoing construction of the Olupoyi Customary Court Hall.
This vital project is being championed by Hon. Barr. Olayemi Oluwasina, the Political Head and Administrator of Omi-Apata LCDA, as part of his administration’s efforts to strengthen the justice system and enhance access to legal services within the local council development area.
Hon. Steven Fapetu, while making the donation, expressed his firm belief in the importance of functional civic infrastructure, particularly institutions that uphold justice and order at the grassroots level. According to him, the Customary Court Hall will serve as a cornerstone for peaceful conflict resolution and fair adjudication within the community.
Moreover, he lauded Hon. Barr. Olayemi Oluwasina’s dedication to transformative leadership and called on other political leaders, community stakeholders, and residents to contribute meaningfully to the timely completion of the court hall.
With continued collaborative efforts, the Olupoyi Customary Court Hall is set to become a lasting legacy for the benefit of present and future generations.
