The Vice Chairman of Ido Local Government Hon. Barr Olayemi Oluwasina has felicitated with the people of Oyo State, particularly the good people of Ido Local Government, on the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the creation of Oyo State. He described the Golden Jubilee as a significant milestone that reflects the rich history, unity, and steady development of Oyo State over the years.
He also eulogised His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for his exemplary leadership, transparency, and people-centered governance, noting that the Governor’s administration has continued to bring meaningful progress in infrastructure, education, and economic growth across the state. According to him, the impact of this leadership is being felt at the grassroots, including Ido Local Government, where citizens are benefiting from improved policies and development initiatives.
Oluwasina added that the 50th anniversary is not only a time to celebrate past achievements but also an opportunity to renew commitment to building a more prosperous, peaceful, and united Oyo State for future generations.
