The Omi-Apata Local Council Development Area recently held an Inter-Faith Prayer Meeting to formally welcome the newly appointed Acting Head of Local Government Administration, Alhaja Nojimudeen Kudirat. The event took place at the council headquarters in Omi-Apata, Omi-Adio, Ibadan, and was attended by government officials, religious leaders, community stakeholders, and council staff.
Speaking at the gathering, the Political Head and Administrator of Omi-Apata LCDA, Hon. Barr. Olayemi Oluwasina, described the programme as timely and significant. He emphasized that prayer remains a strong foundation for effective leadership, unity, and sustainable development. According to him, the administration is committed to inclusive governance, transparency, and people-oriented service delivery.
Furthermore, Christian and Muslim leaders offered prayers for wisdom, good health, and divine guidance for Alhaja Nojimudeen Kudirat as she assumes office. They also prayed for peace, cooperation, and accelerated development across the LCDA.
Overall, the programme concluded on a note of hope, renewed commitment, and collective resolve to move Omi-Apata LCDA forward.
