President Tinubu Hails HammanDikko’s Investiture as Dan Kaden Adamawa

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his congratulations to Hon. Dahiru HammanDikko following his investiture with the prestigious traditional title of Dan Kaden Adamawa. The turbaning ceremony, scheduled to hold tomorrow is to be conducted by Dr. Muhammad Barkindo Mustapha, the Paramount Ruler of the Adamawa Emirate. The event marks a significant recognition of HammanDikko’s contributions to community development and public service.

In a statement released through his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described the honor as a fitting acknowledgment of HammanDikko’s character and dedication to serving his community.

The President also emphasized that the Dan Kaden Adamawa title carries profound historical significance and represents strength, leadership, and commitment to the welfare of the people. He noted that the presentation reflects the emirate’s tradition of recognizing individuals whose integrity and service align with the values of the traditional institution.

HammanDikko currently serves as Executive Director of Agriculture Services at the Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority and is a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

However, President Tinubu urged the new titleholder to uphold the values that earned him this honor and to redouble his commitment to community development. He also praised the Lamido of Adamawa for preserving the emirate’s rich traditions and for recognizing individuals who exemplify its core values.

The traditional title ceremony shows that Nigeria’s traditional institutions are still important and continue to support and recognize leaders who work for the good of the community.
