The University of Lagos, UNILAG is set to inaugurate 10 emergency hotlines across its campus to enhance safety and prompt response to emergencies involving students and staff.

The Director of the Quality Assurance and Servicom Unit, Prof. Olufemi Saibu, announced this during a press conference on Tuesday as part of activities marking the 2025 International Customer Service Week (ICSW) at the university’s Akoka campus in Lagos.

Prof. Saibu explained that the initiative aims to strengthen communication between the university community and key service units, ensuring that incidents are promptly reported and addressed. He added that the measure reflects UNILAG’s commitment to providing a secure and responsive environment for learning and work.
