Nigerian striker Victor Boniface is set to join Italian club AC Milan after completing the first part of his medical tests in Milan. The 24-year-old forward is moving from Bayer Leverkusen on a season-long loan, with the deal expected to include an option for Milan to buy him permanently.
Victor is expected to join Milan on a one-year loan deal. The club can choose to buy him later for about €24 million. Milan will pay €5 million for the loan, making the total deal close to €30 million.

Boniface has completed his fitness and medical tests in Milan. He has also agreed to a four-year contract that will begin if AC Milan chooses to make his move permanent next year.
AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri is looking to strengthen his attack, as the team currently has only one fully fit striker, Santiago Gimenez. Rafael Leao, who has been filling in up front, is dealing with a minor injury, increasing the need for more attacking options.
AC Milan tried to sign other strikers like Rasmus Hojlund and Dusan Vlahovic but couldn’t make a deal. If the transfer goes through, Boniface will be Milan’s eighth new player this summer, joining stars like Luka Modric and others.
