IDO LOCAL GOVERNMENT, OYO STATE — Hon. Barr. Olayemi Ajibola Oluwasina, the incoming Chairman of Ido Local Government, has extended an empowerment gesture to selected widows across Wards 1–10 of Ido Local Government as part of his commitment to supporting vulnerable members of the community.

The initiative, which brought together selected widows from the various wards, was designed to provide meaningful support to beneficiaries and assist them in strengthening their livelihoods.

Speaking on the gesture, the initiative reflects Hon. Barr. Oluwasina’s commitment to compassion, inclusion and community support, particularly towards members of society who may require additional assistance to improve their economic well-being.
The empowerment programme also underscores the importance of ensuring that vulnerable members of the community are not left behind, while promoting a stronger sense of belonging and shared responsibility across Ido Local Government.






Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as a welcome intervention that would provide support in meeting their needs and improving their livelihoods.
The initiative is consistent with Hon. Barr. Olayemi Ajibola Oluwasina’s stated commitment to people-oriented leadership and inclusive community development as he prepares to assume office as Chairman of Ido Local Government.
