In a significant development ahead of the Oyo State governorship race, the Vice Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Barr. Olayemi Ajibola Oluwasina, has extended warm congratulations to Hon. Abimbola Adekanmbi following his emergence as the consensus governorship candidate of the Good Governance and Service to the People (GSM) Party and the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM).
Hon. Oluwasina described Adekanmbi’s emergence as a welcome development and a clear indication that the GSM/APM alliance is committed to presenting a credible, experienced, and people-oriented leader for the progress of Oyo State.
According to him, Hon. Adekanmbi possesses the leadership qualities, vision, and administrative competence needed to move the state forward and deliver purposeful governance to the people.
He further stated that the alliance between GSM and APM represents a new hope for the people of Oyo State, adding that the coalition is built on the principles of good governance, accountability, service to humanity, and prosperity for all.
Hon. Oluwasina prayed for wisdom, strength, and success for Hon. Adekanmbi as he begins the journey toward the 2027 governorship election, expressing confidence that the people of Oyo State will support a candidate with proven capacity and integrity.
